Kintsugi repair

By enquiry

Glaze tests are cooling overnight. Tomorrow I find out whether the copper went green or grey.

A quick note that should cost no vision call.

Someone brought in a teapot their grandmother carried over from Kyoto in 1954, with the spout in three pieces. We agreed the repair should be visible. It will take most of a month.

Pulled the spring glaze test tiles out this morning. Eleven of the fourteen came out somewhere between oatmeal and bone, which is what I wanted, and three went a strange green nobody asked for. Keeping two of those.
